Golden Hour Visions

Taking photos in golden hour was particularly hard because golden hour is only so many minutes long each day. To be able to make it to the chosen site in time, set things up properly, and take the photos, is a very rushed job.
I managed this by just taking as many pictures I could with the time I had and hoping for the best. I also changed my different perspectives when taking the photos and I looked back to the “shoot in the style of” project that I did last semester for ideas and approaches since it included a similar concept.
Light can change the feeling or mood of the subject. I find with golden hour shots result in a more emotional feeling.
The lighting during this time of day is like nature’s filter. During golden hour, the light itself can be seen as the beginning of the end. It’s almost funereal.
